Sustainability takes centre stage for us, because we firmly believe that together we can have a positive impact on our environment and also be a sustainable hotel.
Our environmentally friendly measures start with our energy supply. We are increasingly relying on renewable energies and minimising our carbon footprint. We have installed a photovoltaic system since 2023 and produce almost half of our annual electricity consumption ourselves. We also have a charging station for electric cars.
We try to avoid plastic packaging, use reusable items and separate waste.
We also use regional and seasonal ingredients in the kitchen to support local farmers and reduce transport costs.
The sustainable use of food and waste avoidance are particularly important to us.
In addition, our guests receive a free " South Tyrol Guest Pass" on arrival, which allows them to use all buses and trains throughout South Tyrol free of charge.
This allows you to explore Merano and the surrounding area by public transport and protect the environment at the same time.
Sustainability is not a finished "product". You have to constantly educate yourself, try out new things, analyse work processes and try to optimise them.
